Due to the existence of street vendor and illegal parking, the shopping complex looks more chaotic. In the future, the parking would be relocated to three other shopping complexes, namely Pasar Baru Square, Istana Pasar Baru, and Pasar Atom.
“Besides that, we'll also handle waste problem that was previously the authority of Pasar Baru management,” said Head of Pasar Baru Urban Village, Wahyu Surya KPS, Wednesday (6/24).
Wahyu admitted his side has conducted socialization to hundreds of street vendors. As planned, post Idul Fitri, all street vendors planned to be relocated to Pasar Atom. For the first six months the kiosk rental cost will be free of charge, and next month they have to charge by Rp 52 thousand per meter.
“It is targeted to be done after Idul Fitri. If they still ignore it, we will control them,” he disclosed.
